Conflict can’t survive without your participation” – Wayne Dyer

Ouch! But he knew what he was talking about.

Does your office (or ZOOM) seem like the set of a reality show? Chances are someone there THRIVES on drama. Is it YOU? Or do your shoulders crawl up and over your ears when you find yourself in this situation?

The quick fix?

  • Clarify: Take a step back and think about how you are feeling about the situation. Are you fanning the flames or reaching for the fire extinguisher?
  • Resolve: How did you get here, and what is the best step for YOU to take that diffuses this situation. You may try to have everyone get along with peace and love, or just agree to disagree.
  • Consensus: Try and have everyone assume THEIR role in this, and decide on the best steps going forward.

It will only continue if you choose to participate.

Here’s what one of my clients had to say:

“Kathy did an excellent job working with our staff to help us better understand and communicate with one another. Her wit and humor made the process fun, all the while, her extensive knowledge made it engaging and informative. I would highly recommend Kathy to anyone who wants to learn more about their staff or themselves. 10 out of 10!”  B. Roth, KattanFerretti Financial
